Blair & Jay Pre-Wedding Bridal Shoot

Blair & Jay got together with me for an elegant and fun bridal shoot before her wedding in September. Blair wanted to get some good photo's of her in her beautiful wedding dress because she will not be able to fit into it come September ;) That's right...Blair found out she expecting her second child. Doesn't she look great for already being a mother! It was another wonderful day outside and I was able to capture some great light and some amazing photos of the two of them for their wedding :) Sometimes I surprise myself with how better my photography has gotten over the years and was blown away with this photo shoot and very excited to share them!
Thanks Blair & Jay .... See you in September !

April & Eric's Wedding - 06.14.2008

April & Eric got married at Mt. Hood Organic Farms on June 16th, 2008 and it was such a gorgeous day.  They meet at the Red Dress Party which raises money for homeless teens and food for shelters.  I have enjoyed getting to know them and they are such a fun, humble, down to earth adventerous couple.  The wedding was such a laid back and joyeous event and we drank Sangria's to keep us refreshed in the hot sun!  Here are some of my favorites from the wedding day and check out the Slideshow for the whole story of this amazing wedding!
Congratulations April & Eric and lets get together for sushi soon ;)

Ashleigh & James Maternity Shoot

This is officially my first maternity shoot! Ashleigh had a shoot booked at JC Penny's ( Booooo! ) but saw my photo's from her friends engagement shoot, Heather & Andrew, and decided she wanted something fun and upbeat. I was happy to oblige and give her some fun photo's she can one day show her child. Ashleigh and James were so fun to work with and she had the whole pregnancy glow going on. For my first maternity shoot I think it came out great and I hope to do more of them soon. Congratulations Ashleigh & James!

Lindy & Matt's Wedding 05.31.2008

So funny story to start out this amazing wedding. Matt is my cousin I haven't seen since we were very young. I grew up in Texas but my dad lived in Portland. My dad's brother is Matt's dad and we went to visit them when I was up from Texas. Matt is 8 years younger than I am so eventually when my family moved up here and I grew up we just kinda lost track although I asked about him and knew what he was up too, I hadn't seen him in 10 years or so.
Ok, So flash forward and I get an email asking to meet up and go over my packages for a wedding. I notice the name and it rings a bell but bells and whistles do not go off and I think nothing of it. So I meet with him and Lindy at a nearby Starbucks and as soon as I walk in I realize that this is my cousin, he looks just like his dad Stan btw. So Matt had found my work and then showed it to his mom who is my aunt, she then pointed out I was his cousin. How weird right? But what's cool is that Matt had already decided to go with me based upon my work so I thought that was very cool and I got to work with family and enjoy their wedding and reconnect! Now onto the day....
